Day 1: Arrive in Auckland
Accommodation: Copthorne Hotel/Rose Park Hotel/VR Queen Street, 4*
This afternoon we will arrive in Auckland, which is known as the hometown of white clouds and the capital of sailing. We will pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel for rest.
Guests arriving earlier can explore Auckland city on their own. Queen Street, Sky Tower, Art Gallery, Princes Wharf, Wynyard Quarter, Viaduct Harbour and Britomart are all suitable for walking.
Day 2: Auckland - Matamata - Rotorua
Meals: Hotel breakfast / Hobbit buffet lunch / Chinese dinner
Accommodation: Jet Park Hotel Rotorua / Copthorne Hotel / Sudima Hotel or equivalent. Embark on a joyful journey to explore the scenery of the North Island in the morning. Arriving at the famous "Lord of the Rings" filming location★Hobbit Village, there are 44 Hobbit caves scattered in the quiet pasture surrounded by green mountains and green waters. It is a real paradise. Fans of the Lord of the Rings must not miss the opportunity to visit the "Bag Bottom Hole" and have a drink at the "Green Dragon Tavern". In 2024, the Hobbit will have a brand new upgraded adventure experience. You can explore and visit the interior of the Hobbit houses on Bagshot Street. A buffet lunch is specially arranged for you in the ★special tent restaurant in the Hobbit Village (the buffet lunch is a special gift for Xiyangyang Holiday. If you cannot arrange to eat in the scenic area due to special circumstances, other meals will be replaced). Arrive in the geothermal city of Rotorua in the afternoon and head to Elizabeth
Visit the White Tudor-style Municipal Gardens to admire the charm of British architecture, then head to the Rotorua Lakeside Trail, where you can see beautiful black swans while walking along the lake. Take a walk in the Kuirau Park geothermal reserve, where you can wander through the beautiful public gardens, bubbling mud pools, and colorful hot water lakes. In the evening, you can enjoy a special sulfur hot spring bath at the Polynesian Natural Hot Springs (at your own expense), one of the "Top Ten Hot Springs in the World". Day 3: Rotorua - Taupo - Rotorua

Accommodation: Jet Park Hotel Rotorua / Copthorne Hotel / Sudima Hotel or similar hotel After breakfast, head to ★ Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal World, Wai-O-Tapu Rainbow Champagne Pool Geothermal Park, which is the most colorful geothermal attraction in New Zealand. The unique landforms here are formed due to geothermal activities, and you can see the unique volcanic wonders up close from the well-maintained trails. This is also one of the locations where Wu Qilong and Liu Shishi took their wedding photos. After experiencing the geothermal wonders, we will go to Huka Falls to watch the majestic nature. The Waikato River rushes down from a 12-meter-high river fault, causing a huge amount of water flow of 230 tons per second, and the huge power of spraying and downwards forms a foam-like waterfall that vents down. This waterfall is named "Huka" (foam). Then go to Lake Taupo for a walk, try the unique lake golf, and check in at the coolest airplane McDonald's restaurant. In the afternoon, we will return to Rotorua and visit ★ Whaka Maori Village. As it is located in an area with frequent geothermal activities, there is an "active volcano geothermal village" here. Day 4: Rotorua - Auckland - Christchurch

After breakfast, we will go to ★New Zealand Pastoral Farm, take a cool "tractor" to inspect the entire farm territory, take fodder and cute alpacas, and have a close contact with furry lambs, calves, and ponies to experience what it's like to be a farmer in New Zealand. Then we will visit the redwood forest and step into the trail covered with fir bark. The mountains and forests are quiet and moist, and the negative oxygen ions fill the heart and lungs, making the body and mind light. After that, we will climb to the ★White Cloud Peak Gold Award View Restaurant at an altitude of more than 2,000 feet to enjoy a barbecue lunch. Go to the hotel to rest. (Today is expected to arrive at Auckland Airport around 5:00, please book a flight departing after 6:00). If there is no suitable flight on that day, you can also stay in Auckland on that day and fly to Christchurch on the next morning.
Day 5: Christchurch - Lake Tekapo - Starry Sky Sanctuary

Today, the guide of Xiyangyang Holiday South Island will take you to stroll in the garden city of Christchurch, visit the botanical garden, and after lunch, set off to 100% Pure New Zealand's endorsement Lake Tekapo, which has pure lake water and incredible scenery. Day 6: Starry Sky Reserve - Mount Cook - Cromwell - Queenstown

Mount Cook National Park, home to New Zealand's highest peak, is famous for its diverse scenery. There are many famous valley short walks here, and we recommend you try the Tasman Glacier View Short Walk.

Today we will take you to visit the charming town of Glenorchy and go deep into the Middle-earth. Drive along the Glenorchy Road, one of the world's top ten most beautiful scenic roads, enjoy the scenery along Lake Wakatipu, visit the charming town of Glenorchy, and linger in the pure and flawless natural beauty of Paradise Valley. In the afternoon, we will go to the most beautiful town in New Zealand - Arrowtown, surrounded by mountains, with towering ancient trees on the roadside and the Arrow River flowing out of the canyon. This is also the famous filming location of "The Lord of the Rings". Today's town is still well maintained and retains its historical characteristics. Strolling along this street, you will see hundreds of trees on both sides.

Day 8: Queenstown - Milford Sound - Te Anau

After breakfast, we will head to the World Natural Heritage Site of Milford Sound. The deep canyon was created by the movement and cutting of glaciers two million years ago, with waterfalls gushing down. At night, you can rest in the small town of Te Anau and visit the magical glowworm caves at your own expense to experience the secret world created by the underground "galaxy".

Day 9: Te Anau - Dunedin - Oamaru

After breakfast, head to Dunedin, a city with a strong Scottish atmosphere. Dunedin is the "Scotland" of New Zealand.
The artistic streets, cathedral, octagonal square, Otago University Town, the century-old railway station and the huge graffiti everywhere are all great places to take photos. Challenge the world's most inclined street and go to Moeraki Beach to find incredible giant boulders. When night falls, watch the world's smallest blue penguins return to their nests in Oamaru.
Day 10: Oamaru - Christchurch - Home

After breakfast, we will drive back to Christchurch, enjoying the spectacular Canterbury Plains along the way. After lunch, the tour guide will send everyone to the airport, ending the pleasant trip to the South Island.

Recommended flights
· Departure: The tour guide will arrive at Auckland Airport at 15:00 and 18:00 respectively.
Guests who are picked up at the airport during these two times (flight delays or flight time mismatches) need to arrange their own transportation to the hotel.
If you need to purchase additional airport pick-up service, the reference price is $200/one way (7-12 seats).
North Island - South Island Flights: Arrive at Auckland Airport around 5pm on the 4th day. Please book flights from Auckland after 6pm.

Return: Two arrival times at Christchurch Airport are 14:00 and 16:00. You need to book to leave Christchurch after 15:00.
