Brisbane is the capital of Queensland, Australia, and the most populous city in Queensland. It is located in the east of mainland Australia, with the Sunshine Coast to the north and the international tourist destination Gold Coast to the south. The metropolitan area has a population of 2.6 million, making it the third most populous city in Australia, second only to Sydney and Melbourne. The southeastern Queensland urban agglomeration centered on Brisbane has a population of over 3.27 million. Brisbane is the sunny capital of Queensland, which is not only leisurely and energetic, but also adventurous.
