Victoria (English: Victoria, abbreviated as VIC), referred to as Victoria, Victoria Province, also translated as Victoria Province, is a state in the southern east coast of Australia. It is the smallest of the five federal states in mainland Australia (only 237,629 square kilometers), but has the second largest population in Australia (nearly 6.7 million, second only to New South Wales), and its population density is therefore the highest among the six states in Australia.
